Leonardo DiCaprio’s version of Romeo’s speech at Juliet’s bier was so good it moved Claire Danes to tears, nearly ruining the scene. The moment the director yelled “cut!,” Danes smacked DiCaprio on the arm and said, “Don’t make me cry. I’m supposed to be comatose, here!”

Oh, look. It’s Leonardo DiCaprio being an amazing actor…again.

This morning the latest trailer for Marc Webb’s reboot of the Spider-Man franchise found its way online and one thing is certain: it definitely seems to be a truer take on Stan Lee’s classic comic book hero. (via Watch: “The Amazing Spider-Man” Trailer | Under The Radar)

This. Looks. Fantastic.

Climb into the ring for a battle that you can’t win…

I wish more people had seen this film, because it’s really fantastic.

From the Just Jared interview with Tom Hiddleston:

miakispus:

“JJ: And you’re in a movie with Rachel?
TH:
I am in a movie with Rachel called The Deep Blue Sea. Before that, cause I want to mention it, was Gavin O’Connor’s Warrior with Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton, which had me crying like a lost child. I loved it.”

It makes a biiiig Tom Hiddleston AND Tom Hardy fan (me) sooo happy when seeing Hiddles complementing Tommy’s films!! <33333

See? Even Hiddles liked it!

I just finished watching it with my parents, who usually dislike anything I present to them. Dad said it was a good movie and my mother spent the last half hour flipping out over the boys hurting each other. Then there was a lot of, “He’s so broken. He’s so broken.” Then she cried. SUCCESS!

FILMS ON FRIDAY

——————

C.R.A.Z.Y. - Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée

Happy end of the work week ladies and gents, and welcome to another Films on Friday.  I’ve got a real gem for us this time around.

C.R.A.Z.Y., released in 2005, is an outstanding French language film made in Quebec.  I was actually gifted this DVD while on tour in Canada a couple years back by a group of awesome fans that share my love of film.  I watched it that night in the back of the bus and was immediately pulled into it.  A moving, bittersweet, and realistic story of a boy coming to grips with who he really is whilst growing up in a conservative home with 4 brothers in the 60’s and 70’s.

A fantastic cast led by Michel Côté and Marc-André Grondin keep up with the pace of the quick, clever style of the picture… Not to mention the soundtrack is pretty on point as well.

Without further ado, let’s a-do this thing!

note: This is instant streaming on Netflix.

Stay inside tonight.  Watch with us and comment along in the… well…. comments.

Show time - 9:15 PM CT

I love this film! Shiny.
