IT’S LIKE HAVING A TINY DRUNK BEST FRIEND WITH YOU.

maybe I am all turned around on this child having business then

I’m convinced that he’s seen Dylan Moran’s comedy special: “What are they really, children? Midget drunks!”

Shit Nobody Says: “Please keep smacking your gum.”

He is amazing. Also, look at Lea Seydoux being all fabulous in the background.

Passed this on the way to work this morning and promptly fell into a giggle fit. Had the same reaction when I saw it on my way home. I guess someone had a good time last night.

I’ve seen this movie three times in theatres, and I literally had tears in my eyes every time this scene came on. I probably peed a little, too.

Saw it for the first time last week. Had the same reaction.

This is still the most hilarious thing to ever come out of Inception fandom. Whenever I’m in the mood to laugh, I watch this. The Internet is so fantastic.

(And if I were an actress working on a film with Leonardo DiCaprio, I would make it my mission in life to make sure that he’s seen this video.)

Secret Fringe Auditions for Peter Bishop at Comic Con

rejectedjokes:

I was included in a group of actors who were asked to audition for the now up in the air role of Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson’s old character) in Fringe. I’m unsure if they’ve made their decision yet but two hours ago, they screened the audition footage at Comic Con. Enjoy-

I squealed with joy for four minutes straight.

For the masturbatory needs of the entire HBO war miniseries fandom, I have put together a master post of the best military lipdubs, skits, and general displays of goofiness that I’ve come across on youtube.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, there aren’t that many. Rest assured that I’ve watched all the ones that DO exist over and over again (and over, and over, and over, and over… my roommate and I may be obsessed, don’t judge me you don’t know my life) to make sure that these are the most quality.

Without further ado, please enjoy the finest American defenders of freedom (and lip-syncing) since Generation Kill:

1. 266 Rein Marines - Britney Spears’ “Hold it Against Me” (above)
I think everyone has seen this by now (it has over 3 million views), but this is the video that started it all, man. It was featured on The Daily What sometime in late April or early May, and even though I don’t usually watch their videos, I clicked “play” on a whim. About 35 seconds in, my jaw dropped. About 45 seconds in, my hands came up over my mouth and I began silently screaming. At about 1:08, I fell of the bed and started yelling, “JOY!!! JOOOOOOYYYYYY!!!”
When I say my roommate and I watched this video on repeat every day for the last two weeks of school, please know that I am not exaggerating in the slightest.

2. US Air Force Academy - Ke$ha’s “TiK ToK”
This was done for Spirit Week 2010 or some such nonsense where the military academies play each other in some sport I think??? Anyway it made me seriously regret my decision not to apply to the Air Force Academy I mean jesus h. look at these handsome young men! Look at their pelvic thrusts! Look at their push-ups!

3. US Naval Academy - Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite”
This is the Naval Academy’s response to the Air Force video. Not as creative a concept as the AF had, but the dancing is legitimately impressive.

4. US Air Force Academy - *NSYNC’s “It’s Gonna Be Me”
This one has the same lead guy who was in the TiK ToK video (and whom I may or may not want to marry…call me, anonymous Air Force bro.) The dancing is actually, uh, impressively in sync.

5. US Naval Academy - Old Spice Parody
Again, made in response to the previous video. I think this set was made after the TiK ToK and Dynamite videos, but I’m too lazy to check, so don’t quote me on that. The second set is pretty good (this video in particular has a lot of gratuitous shirtlessness) but I think the first two are better. Maybe I just really like it when the Air Force dances to TiK ToK, you’ll never know.

6. US Air Force Academy - Folgers’ Best Part of Waking Up
Oh my god this is ADORABLE. I honestly cannot overstate how goddamn cute it is, you should just watch it. The best part is how they’re obviously having a great time with it, so they just have these huge goofy grins on their faces the whole video. Just stop it okay! And I don’t actually understand how all these people are so attractive, is that like a requirement for getting into these schools or something?

7. US Soldiers in IraqGünther’s ”Ding Dong Song”
These are mostly older guys, so it’s not exactly the same type of eye candy as the others, but it’s pretty hilarious (if somewhat alarming) and it was made 3 years ago, so I thiiiiink it was the first of its kind.

Okay that’s all I have! Feel free to add any videos you find; this is by no means comprehensive, just a collection of my favorites.

I would be lying if I said that I haven’t spent a lot of quality time with youtube watching vids of military people dancing and being generally entertaining (hey, remember that one time me & a friend got drunk and spent four hours watching these kinds of vids…? ANYWAY). Here are some ones this list is missing that I think you really need to see if you’re into this kind of shit:

USS EnterpriseNavy Numa Numa (O-zone - Dragostea Din Tei) - if I am home and drunk I watch this one at least 100 times. It’s ridiculous joy.

VAW-116 Hawkeye Squadron - Sun King Hey Ya (OutKast - Hey Ya) - this one is their best - keep an eye out for a cardboard cutout of the King - but see also their other videos for more awesomeness.

US Marine Corps - Extreme Makeover Iraq Edition - not a music video but OH MY GOD. They went there.

Royal Australian Navy - I’m on a boat - Australian Navy Style (The Lonely Island - I’m on a Boat) - Australia represent. Also there’s a mermaid.

And last but not least, the one everyone should see:
US Marine Corps - Your Tax Dollars At Work (I’m in the blue gloves) = BEST

There’s also the Marines dancing to I Want It That Way. A personal favorite.

This is the most wonderful thing I’ve seen all day.

(Thanks, Kevin! ♥)
