Mumford & Sons, along with Ross Holmes and David Mayfield, perform “She Said Yes” (originally recorded by The Wedding Band) at a private event at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City on November 17, 2010.  Enjoy!

This song. I love it so hard. Hoping they’ll break it out for the next tour.

The pure and honest joy on Marcus Mumford’s face is something I will never get tire of.

Because the truth is, I’m a closet romantic who believes in love and fairy tales and people finding that special someone.

But don’t tell anyone.

Mumford & Sons - Home (New Song, Live)

The pressure’s on for Bob Dylan’s recent live collaborators to deliver a sophomore effort that will stand up to the massive success of their debut, but all signs — namely, live previews and a reverent cover of the National’s “England” — point to the English folk troupe seamlessly settling into a comfortable transition for LP2, said to be completed by the end of the year. Their latest new tune, a love song from the road speculatively titled “Home” by fans, has been debuted on their summer tour and for an in-studio performance on Colorado radio station KBCO. Hear the latter take above.

So frakking excited for the new record. On a related note, does anyone know where I can find a download of their Unplugged session?

To all of you non-French speakers (comme moi), the entire clip isn’t in French. Just the beginning. I’ve had this song on repeat for the past few months. Enjoy it.

Also, because I believe in putting ideas and requests out into the universe: Yodelice, come to New York.

Mumford & Sons just killed it at the Grammys with this song. This band. This band makes my heart flip. They do things to my freaking soul. They deserve every bit of attention and adoration that they get.

This has been on repeat in my mind (and on my iPod) all week. Give it a listen. It’ll make you smile. ♥
