turnabout:

Craig Ferguson’s cold open from last night. “There’s a Light” from Rocky Horror. This is why he’s my favorite.

(Amanda Palmer also sang “Science Fiction Double Feature” with Steven Merritt, Moby, and Neil Gaiman, but I can’t turn up that video.)

I have Craig’s show set on my DVR at home. Can’t wait to watch this when I get back to New York.

Intellect and romance over brute force and cynicism. This is why I’m a Whovian.

Craig: A lot of people aren’t into Doctor Who. I know that seems odd to you -Chris: I don’t understand what you’re saying. Those words make no sense to me.

It’s all about the triumph of intellect and romance over brute force and cynicism.

1) I cried from laughing so hard.
2) It is an absolute joy to share a character like The Doctor with children, because he shows us that we can can defeat all sorts of evil and injustice with the power of our brains. He doesn’t need a gun; his mind is the weapon! Our strength lies in our intelligence! These are the lessons that everyone should learn! Emphatic declarations deserve multiple exclamation points!!!

I have been attracted to this man for a number of years now. He keeps getting hotter (and more hilarious) as he ages. He’s got Clooney magic.
